The "official" Tali reveal in ME3 was quite a.. disappointment, so I made my version of my own Tali headcanon. I'm not saying this should be the official Tali and everyone else is wrong, but it's how I think she looks under the suit.

This has been my headcanon ever since I first saw it. Wonderfully alien, without sacrificing attractiveness. Or at least, I thought so - kinda baffled at the comments you've received that disagree. Oh well.

Finally a Quarian face that doesn't look like a photo shopped Human face. Excelent job.

Also read your geeky reasoning and I agree with about 90% of it but there was one thing you didn't take into consideration: the Geth.

As Legion demonstrated, Geth have those fins on their heads that allow them to emote, and since they were based on their creators, and like we would have eyebrows or a way for the mouth to move to allow a robot to emote, it would make sense that Quarians would add that feature because they themselves would have something simular, either feathers or scales, that would serve the same purpose in allowing emotions.

Basically I think, if you want to a more accurate Quarian you need to add a feathered crest or a scaly frill.

Thanks! The geth facial expressions did cross my mind but I tried to stay faithful to the actual 3d model behind her mask. Also to me the geth "eyebrows" are just a way for geth to have kinda exaggerated looking "emotions" which makes them somewhat more appealing to organics, designed by quarian or themselves.

Haa I love it, fantastic. Now this is how you do it, Eaware! I hated the pretty purple space elf DDDD: However trying to use logic and science for Mass Effect universe is maybe a bit much. Just a personal opinion.
