Fantastic hard surface sculpt. Though, the shoulders look a but too curvy in the inner surface for that kind of material. Some more Trim Dynamic would've worked wonders here (I'm assuming you use ZBrush since you mentioned Mike Jensen's tutorial). Or was it intentional? Bent? Looked odd and really stood out though.
How do you go about it? Do you use a lot of retop like Mike Jensen and Kurt Papstein (Ikameka) or more just "free form" sculpting?
Thank you. I've used plenty of Trim Dynamic so it's pretty intentional. I imagined the hands and upper legs (which you don't really see here though) to be a different material than the rest of his body. Half-organic, half metallic kind of thing for easier movability. But it's a design choise too I guess, I like nonconformal things.
I retopo pretty much everything after sculpting the parts in dynamesh.
